The PFNT Facility is a coherent set of exploration tools in neurobiology allowing research at the molecular, cellular and integrated levels.
A successful partnership between the APHM Pathology department / the GlioME team and ID-Solutions industrial society (https://www.id-solutions.fr/fr/), has led to the developement of ready-to-use kits for the detection and quantification by digital PCR of key genetic alterations of brain tumours, specifically gliomas.
Dr. Emeline Tabouret (MCU-PH) and Dr. Chiara Bastiancich (Post-doc) from the GlioME team received the "Emergence" grant co-funded by the Canceropôle PACA and the Association pour la Recherche sur les Tumeurs Cérébrales (ARTC-Sud).
Dr. Tabouret wants to develop CAR-T cells directed against glioblastoma stem cells. The first step will be to design and then transfect the CARs into T cells and analyze their efficacy in vitro. The second step will consist of analyzing the in vivo efficacy of the CAR-T cells.
The Platform INteractome Timone - PINT is pleased to announce the arrival of a brand new Surface Plasmon Resonance Biacore T200 (Cytiva, ex GE Healthcare) designed to follow in real time interactions between free-labeled biomolecules from ions to viruses. The use of real-time measurement allows to provide association (kon) and dissociation (koff) rate constant of the interaction and to deduce its affinity (KD).
In this review, we focused on the most widely used 3D human glioblastoma models: spheroids, tumorospheres, organotypic slices, explants, tumoroids and glioblastoma-derived from cerebral organoids. We discuss their history, development and especially their usefulness.
We are very excited to announce that our project "Artificial Intelligence for Onco-Plasma" carried out by Remi Eyraud from QARMA team of LIS in collaboration with team 8, team 9, team 10, and PINT platform of INP, was awarded a grant from the MIC (Mathema
INP platform PINT together with AFMB and IMM are glad to announce their first inter-platform interactome workshop entitled "Methods to study Molecular Interactions (Biomedical applications)" that will take place from monday december 7th to friday 11th 2020.
Looking to confirm the interaction between a drug and its target?
Wanting to characterize the interaction between a receptor and its ligand?

The INP is one of the winners of the photo contest organized by NeuroMarseille/NeuroSchool. The goal of the contest was to reveal the "beauty of life" through images taken in the neuroscience laboratories of AMU. Eight laboratories - INP, INT, IBDM, LNC, INMED, INS, LPC, CRMBM - sent pictures (5 for INP). The first 10 works have been selected and will soon be exhibited in a gallery in Marseille and another in Aix en Provence. Those not selected will appear in the printed catalog of the exhibition.
The INP is proud to announce that, this year, four of its members have had their projects successfully granted by the French National Research agency (ANR - generic call 2021): Pascale Barbier (team 9), Christophe Leterrier (team 7), Emmanuel Nivet (team 6) and Aurélie Tchoghandjian (team 8).
