La PFNT (Plateforme NeuroTimone) est un ensemble cohérent d'outils d'exploration en neurobiologie permettant des investigations aux échelles moléculaires, cellulaires et intégrées.

  1. The GlioME team published a new article in Stem Cells and one eye-catch figure of their paper was selected for the cover image of the June journal issue!

    Our last work on IAPs : "Inhibitor of Apoptosis Proteins (IAPs) Determines Glioblastoma Stem‐Like Cell Fate in an Oxygen‐Dependent Manner" is now published in Stem Cells. We highlighted that pharmacological inhibition of IAPs by Smac mimetic GDC-0152 was able to decrease glioblastoma stem-like cells viability in hypoxia by decreasing cell proliferation and increasing apoptosis through ATR and TNFα pathways

  2. Les chercheurs et étudiants de l’INP étaient massivement présents à NeuroFrance 2019

    Lors du dernier congrès de NeuroFrance qui se tenait du 22 au 24 mai 2019 au Palais des Congrès de Marseille, l’INP s’est illustré à travers 20 posters, 4 communications orales, et une modération de symposium, sans oublier l’organisation de l’exposition « Art en Tête », montrant non seulement la richesse et la qualité de sa recherche mais aussi son ouverture d’esprit.

  3. The CNRS features Vect-Horus and the INP in the Innovation Letter of April

    In the CNRS Innovation Letter of April, there is an article entitled "Des molécules vectorisées pour cibler les maladies neurodégénératives" featuring the research collaboration agreement signed by Vect-Horus and Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceuticals for treating neurodegenerative diseases.

  4. INP students presented their research work at the 14th International Conference on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases (ADPD)

    On the 26-31st March, the 14th International Conference on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases (ADPD) and related neurological disorders was held in Lisbon, Portugal. This year, almost the entire team 1 and team 6 went to this major event and our students: Laurie Arnaud, Laura García González and Dominika Pilat took the opportunity to present their work on a poster.

  5. New publication from the NeuroCyto team in Nature Communications: Perform advanced microscopy experiments thanks to NanoJ-Fluidics

    The LEGO Pumpy (or more officially NanoJ-Fluidics) paper is out in Nature Communications! A joint venture between the INP NeuroCyto team and the Henriques lab, this article (previously available as a preprint on bioRxiv) details how to build a fully open-source multi-channel syringe pumps with LEGO and Arduino.

  6. New preprint from the NeuroCyto team: tips and tricks for super-resolution microscopy

    We have a new preprint out! Want to do good super-resolution images? We have put together all our single molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) tips and tricks. This is a methods paper that describes our SMLM workflow, using benchmark samples such as microtubules and clathrin-coated pits.

    New publication from the NeuroCyto team in the Journal of Cell Biology: Slow axonal transport of actin via hotspots and trails

    Our latest work (previously on bioRxiv) is now published in the Journal of Cell Biology. We collaborated with the Roy lab (UW Madison, USA) and the Jung lab (Ohio University, USA) to reveal a new mechanism of slow axonal transport, based on our previous discovery of actin hotspots and trails

  8. Christophe at MiFoBio
    Christophe from the NeuroCyto team delivers plenary lecture at MiFoBio 2018

    Christophe was lucky to spend a whole week at the “Microscopie Fonctionnelle en Biologie” aka MiFoBio workshop. Lots of fun attending dozens of cutting-edge workshops, trying super-resolution microscopes, discussing, DJing (!), and presenting the latest work from the lab.

The popularization of science is one of the missions of academic research. This article authored by Aurélie Soubéran is intended for children aged 12-13 years and more broadly for the general public, and focuses on a preclinical study on glioblastoma model.

L'équipe 9 a participé à une revue collective sur les structures moléculaires de tau

L'équipe 9 "Cytosquelette et Neurophysiopathologie" de l'INP, conjointement avec plusieurs groupes leaders dans l'étude de la biologie de tau, a participé à une revue collective qui vient de sortir dans Acta Neuropathologica Communications. Cette revue résume les récentes avancées moléculaires , en physiologie comme en pathologie, de cette protéine à la structure si difficile à appréhender..

Le dernier travail de l'équipe 9 de l'INP : "Tau regulates the microtubule-dependent migration of glioblastoma cells via the Rho-ROCK signaling pathway" est maintenant publié dans J. cell. Science. Ces travaux identifient pour la première fois le rôle et les mécanismes impliquant la proteine tau dans les processus d'invasion des glioblastomes, tumeurs cérébrales très agressives.
