L'Institut de NeuroPhysiopathologie (INP) est un centre d'excellence pour la formation et la recherche qui allie la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle pour étudier l'organisation, la fonction et l'interaction des cellules neurales, les bases moléculaires et cellulaires des principales maladies du cerveau, et développer des stratégies de thérapies cellulaires et moléculaires innovantes.
La PFNT (Plateforme NeuroTimone) est un ensemble cohérent d'outils d'exploration en neurobiologie permettant des investigations aux échelles moléculaires, cellulaires et intégrées.

Notre équipe est heureuse d'accueillir Mensah Loko pour un stage de Master de 6 mois (à partir de novembre 2022) en biologie intégrative et physiologie : Approche intégrative des fonctions du vivant : du gène à la pathologie. Le sujet de son stage est le rôle de l'Adrénomédulline exprimée par les cellules endothéliales associées au glioblastome dans la promotion d'une angiogenèse stable et fonctionnelle.

Emeline Tabouret and Aurélie Tchoghandjian, in collaboration with Thierry Virolle's team at the l'Institut de Biologie Valrose in Nice, are among the two winners to have obtained "Action structurante" funding from the Cancéropôle PACA.
This funding aims to structure the neuro-oncology at the preclinical and translational level in the region (between Marseille and Nice) and will be used to create the PETRA (PrEclinical and TRAnslational Research) platform on these two sites.

Team 8 has recently obtained a CMA-CGM funding in the framework of the call for projects "Programme d'équipement et de recherche clinique" 2022
The project title is "Program of Precision RAdioTherapy to Improve patient Cancer treatment" and aims to participate in the purchase of a small animal irradiator "SARRP" that will complement the pre-clinical offerings of the PETRA network.
Team 9 represented by José Luis and team 8 represented by Aurélie Tchoghandjian have obtained Amidex Blanc funding for the project: "Bioinspired cytotoxic copper complexes: deciphering their mechanism of action in cancer cells to develop efficient therapeutic agents (CytoCu4Cancer)".
This project is led by a chemist, Olga Iranzo of the Institute of Molecular Sciences of Marseille (iSm2).
