L'Institut de NeuroPhysiopathologie (INP) est un centre d'excellence pour la formation et la recherche qui allie la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle pour étudier l'organisation, la fonction et l'interaction des cellules neurales, les bases moléculaires et cellulaires des principales maladies du cerveau, et développer des stratégies de thérapies cellulaires et moléculaires innovantes.
La PFNT (Plateforme NeuroTimone) est un ensemble cohérent d'outils d'exploration en neurobiologie permettant des investigations aux échelles moléculaires, cellulaires et intégrées.
Nadia Coliac a été l’auteure, metteuse en scène et scénographe d’une expérience théâtrale bioluminescente qui a eu lieu le 19 octobre dernier à Paris sur la scène des arts et des sciences du théâtre de la Reine Blanche. Une expérience grandeur nature d'éclairer tout un théâtre uniquement avec la lumière vivante qui a captivé le public, ce fut un moment magique !
Cette production artistique et scientifique fait partie de ses recherches dans le domaine de l'histoire des sciences pour réhabiliter la mémoire de " Raphaël Dubois génie de la lampe vivante".
PINT platform recently acquired the NT.Robotic Autosampler that complemented the existing Prometheus NT.Plex nanoDSF instrument which is already equipped with aggregation detection optics to get complete stability characterization.
NT.Robotic Autosampler is a stand-alone, all-inclusive system with robotic arm, computer, and monitor. PINT is now able to analyze up to 1,536 samples for hands-free characterization of thermal unfolding and chemical denaturation in a single experiment. Incorporate plate temperature control to keep your samples at 4 to 20 °C while they wait in the queue.
This will permit to scale up the existing applications of the Prometheus :
Romain La Rocca, former member of INP team 9, shared the stage of EuroTau meeting in Lille's Grand Palais with Illana Gozes (Israel), Cláudio M. Gomes (Portugal), Amandine Grimm (Switzerland), Yann Fichou (France), Marina Rierola (Germany), Laura Vallés Saiz (Spain), Marie Galas (France) and Mahmoud Maina (UK / USA) during Session #3 chaired by Isabelle Landrieu & Yann Fichou.
He presented his PhD work on the Three zinc binding sites of Tau and their role in tau aggregation and little bit of the perspectives Dahbia Yatoui is currently working on right now.
On October, the 21st, Emmanuel was invited to give a talk during the 2021 meeting organized by the French Club of Glial Cells. Emmanuel had the chance to present the latest and exciting results of the NIVET team by giving a talk during a symposium dedicated on Glial cells in Brain diseases. Emmanuel's talk was entitled: "Human-iPSC-astrocytes reveal a pro-inflammatory axis under the control of the APOE4 genetic risk factor in Alzheimer's disease".

Our team is please to welcome Chisato Suematsu for a 6 months Master internship (from September 2021). Originated from Japan, Chisato is currently studying at the University of Oldenburg (Germany) where she is enrolled in the Neuroscience Program as a 2nd year master student. She is one of the 3 international students that have been selected by NeuroMarseille to receive a competitive fellowship in the context of the MSc incoming mobility 2021 call.
Lundi 4 Octobre, le Dr. Emeline Tabouret (MCU-PH en neuro-oncologie, équipe 8) a défendu brillamment son Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches portant sur "la caractérisation histo-moléculaire des gliomes diffus de l’adulte et développement thérapeutique".
On the 20-22 nd June, the first Molecular Scale Biophysics Research Infrastructure (MOSBRI) conference was held in Paris. Dahbia Yatoui from team 9 and Géraldine Ferracci from PINT went to this event, where Dahbia had the opportunity to present her work "Role of zinc-binding sites in Tau aggregation" on a poster.
The GlioME team was represented on 8 and 9 June 2022 at the Sunrise (Solid tumor cancer stem cell network) meeting at the Curie Institute in Paris.
Aurélie Soubéran presented a poster on the role of the ML-IAP protein in glioblastoma growth and Aurélie Tchoghandjian presented the team's work on "Smac mimetic as pan-cellular therapy in glioblastoma".
After two years of being postponed, INP Day #2 finally took place on Friday, June 3rd.
A huge congrats and thank you to the organizing team (including our engineer Louise) for persevering and making this day a success!

Depuis janvier 2022, le Canceropôle a lancé les « Seminar Series ».
