The Nikon Center of Excellence for Nano-Neuroimaging at Aix-Marseille Université
Thanks to CPER-FEDER “NeuroTimone Platform” funding, the “Neuro-Cellular Imaging Service” (NCIS) imaging facility of the Institute of NeuroPhysiopathology (INP) has acquired three state-of-the-art super-resolution microscopes: a SIM structured illumination microscope, a SoRa spinning-disk microscope, and a STORM single molecule localization microscope. This has led to the establishment, in partnership with Nikon Instruments BV, of one of the twelve Nikon Centers of Excellence, the “Nikon Center of Excellence for Neuro-NanoImaging at Aix-Marseille Université” (https://www.microscope.healthcare.nikon.com/en_EU/bioimaging-centers/nic...). This partnership allows researchers to benefit from permanent maintenance and updating of instruments, with access to the latest technological developments. This collaboration with Nikon ensures exceptional visibility for the facility, its research and training through the organization of events (workshops, demonstrations).
