  1. Maud Gratuze (Team 2) a reçu le pris Joël Ménard 2024
  2. Team 2 at the FENS winter school

Chiara and Maud had the chance to participate to the FENS Winterschool in Obergurgle 🇦🇹 on ‘Protein aggregation in Neurodegenerative disorders’. From insights of the human brain, organoids, non-human primate and cell models to the molecular mechanisms of tau, alpha-Synuclein, TDP43 and Amyloid aggregation.

  3. Welcome to Alexandre New PhD Team 10

Alexandre Astier is starting his thesis on the theme :  Molecular characterisation of primary and recurrent low-grade gliomas

  4. INP at NeuroMAP Day

Christophe (Team 7), Ivan (Team 6), Emmanuel (Team 8) and Sarah (Team 4) participated in NeuroMAP Day, the first event that brought together researchers, clinicians, engineers, and students alongside patient associations focused on brain and nervous system disorders. During the event organized by NeuroMarseille, they presented the research being conducted in their respective labs to the general public, making scientific dissemination more accessible to a broader audience. Thank you very much for your participation!

  5. Teams 4 (Moyon) and 6 (Nivet) at the 27th Meeting of the French Glial Cell Club

Sarah Moyon 's and Emmanuel Nivet 's teams are glad to be present at the 27th Meeting of the French Glial Cell Club.

Congrats to Marine Dos Santos, Nicolas Vermeersch, Naz Şerifoğlu, Ivan Fernandez Bessone and Raphaël Touron for their poster presentation !

  6. New grant for NPD team!

We are pleased to announce that our team has obtained a FRM "2024 prematuration" grant for a project in collaboration with BBB team and Vect-Horus.

The funding will start 1st of November for one year and will allow us to pursue our scientific research on MT5-MMP and its role in Alzheimer disease using in this particular project vectorised mimetic peptides as a potential therapeutical approach.

  7. Société de Neuroendocrinologie 2024 à Nice

Maud Gratuze (SynapTau team) has been invited to the SNE 2024 in Nice to give a presentation titled "Unveiling the Brain's Chubby Secrets: Disrupted Cholesterol and Lipid Metabolism in Alzheimer's Disease" at a symposium on Alzheimer's disease.

  8. GlioME Team: another new paper in Cell Death & Disease!

A new article from the GlioME Team has just been published in Cell Death and Disease: SMAC mimetic drives microglia phenotype and glioblastoma immune microenvironment.
