Team 4 on a Glial Mission in Marseille!

In early July, Team 4 took part in the European Glial Meeting, right here in Marseille.

But showing up at the congress empty-handed (or empty-headed) was out of the question: in the lead-up, the team treated themselves to an intensive refresher course on glial cells. And because we don’t do things halfway, Sarah even rolled up her sleeves (and grabbed the PowerPoint mouse) to lead an introductory lecture on oligodendroglial cells.

Well-prepared and fully warmed up, we dove into the deep end of the scientific knowledge pool.
Three posters to present = three times the stress, but also three times more encounters, exciting discussions, and those “Huh, I hadn’t thought of that!” moments. All of which brought fresh insights and ideas to help perfect our projects.

Between two (scientific, of course) coffee breaks and an avalanche of new data at each session, we also forged valuable connections. The team expanded its address book, now as thick as a neuroanatomy atlas: potential collaborations, scientific and technical exchanges.

In short: a head full of discoveries, a broader professional network, and a fresh surge of motivation for the months ahead.
The team is bursting with new ideas and ready to dive into the new scientific season!
