In May (12th-16th), Sarah Pyrtek (Team6) and Louise Greetham (Team6/SCeNT-PFNT platform) were trained in gene-editing and CRISPR tools in human iPSCs by Pia Johansson from Lund Stem Cell Center at Lund University.

During a 5-day course, they deepened their knowledge about the various CRISPR-based editing techniques and got to exchange with fellow gene editors from different countries. Some highlights were 1) learning ways to further improve workflow and enhance efficiency for CRISPR KO/KI; and 2) learning the most important aspects when it comes to gene modulation by CRISPRa/i. 

This training allows them to bring back and put to application everything they've learned to our institute.
