The SynapTau team has just published a literature review examining all available evidence on the interaction between two crucial elements in the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s disease: tau proteins and ApoE. In this article, we summarize relevant findings from human, cellular, and mouse models that support the existence of a synergistic role between these two key players.
