Once again this year, the Institute of Neurophysipathology took part in the Blended Intensive Programmes “Molecular Scale Biophysics” summer school organized by the European university CIVIS in June 2025. This distance learning program and its summer school, which brings together teachers and researchers from Aix-Marseille University (IMM and INP) as well as La Sapienza Università di Roma, Stockholm University and the Université libre de Bruxelles, is a multidisciplinary program focused on understanding the structure and function of macromolecules using a wide range of experimental approaches, including spectroscopic methods (FTIR, EPR, fluorescence, fast kinetics), hydrodynamic methods (analytical ultracentrifugation, DLS), thermodynamic methods (ITC, DSC, DSF) and atomic force microscopy. Pascale Barbier and Francois Devred took part in the virtual mobility part, and Pascale Barbier also took part in the physical mobility part, training students in analytical ultracentrifugation for a full week at the Timone molecular interaction platform.
