The NCIS photonic microscopy platform at the INP is pleased to welcome CSR Biotech to test their Machine Intelligent Structured Illumination Microscope (MI-SIM) from January 20th to February 6th. Structured illumination is a photonic microscopy approach that overcomes the diffraction limit of light (around 200 nm) that limits the resolution of optical microscopes in visible light. 
MI-SIM claims a maximum resolution of 85 nm with fixed or living samples (https://www.csr-biotech.com/en/mi-sim#specifications).
