The PFNT Facility is a coherent set of exploration tools in neurobiology allowing research at the molecular, cellular and integrated levels.

  1. New publication : "Identification of the three zinc-binding sites on tau protein" from team 9 and PINT

    Team 9 and PINT are glad to see Romain La Rocca's main PhD paper is finally out in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules.

  2. MEDIM 2022 - retour d'expérience

    Du lundi 24 au vendredi 29 avril s'est tenue, toujours avec succès, la deuxième édition de la formation MedIM (Méthodes d'étude des Interactions Moléculaires) co-organisée par la Plateforme INteractome Timone (PINT) de l’INP, la plateforme de Biologie Structurale de l’AFMB et les plateformes de l’IMM, toutes trois labellisées "Plateformes Technologiques du site d'Aix-Marseille".

  3. L'équipe GlioME et la plateforme PINT mobilisées lors de l'assemblée générale de l'association ARTC Sud

    Emmanuel Snacel-Fazy, doctorant dans l'équipe Gliome et  François Devred co-directeur de la plateforme PINT ont présenté leurs travaux lors de l'assemblée générale de l'Association pour la Recherche sur les Tumeurs Cérébrales (ARTC Sud).

  5. Congratulations to Chiara who won a poster prize

    Chiara Bastiancich, Post-doc in the GlioME team presented her ongoing GlioRET project at the European Symposium on Controlled Drug Delivery.
     

    Her poster "Elucidating the tumor resection microenvironment of glioblastoma toward the development of fit-for-purpose local treatments" won over the cogress jury !

  7. Another award for Emmanuel Snacel-Fazy

    Emmanuel Snacel-Fazy, a 2nd year doctoral student in the GlioME team, won the best poster award at yesterday's "Conference Annuelle de L'institut Cancer et Immunologie (ICI)", Thursday 31 March 2022.

    His work on the "Remodelling of the glioblastoma immune landscape by smac mimetic GDC-0152" has been appreciated and rewarded. Once again, congratulations!

INP & Vect-Horus running against Alzheimer's disease

On december 10th 2022, PINT INP and Vect-Horus members met in the Hippodrome Borély for the "Course des Lumières" organized by Foundation Recherche Alzheimer. It was freezing but together with 600 or something others, they walked 5 km or ran 8 km, to light up the night against Alzheimer's disease and for all patients, carrying a luminous object. Welcome to Mensah, a new Master 2 student in team 10 !

Our team is pleased to welcome Mensah Loko for a 6 months Master internship (from November 2022) in Integrative Biology and Physiology: Integrative approach to the functions of life: from gene to pathology. The subject of his internship is the role of Adrenomedullin expressed by glioblastoma-associated endothelial cells in promoting a stable and functional angiogenesis.
