Super-resolution microscopy is super-nice, but it can also be super-expensive or super-complicated. But now it's super-simple to get nanoscale details of your favorite cells with any kind of microscope, thanks to the enhanced version of the SRRF algorithm just published in Nature Methods! Angélique, Theresa and Christophe from the NeuroCyto team collaborated with Ricardo Henriques and his lab at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciênca in Lisbon to help develop and validate the new eSRRF. The article is available here (open access), and you can read a press release from the IGC here.
